CHAT LOOP update April 2008 TWO QUESTIONS

This text could end up as a form of chat show, but there two urgent real questions-

What would persuade Exeter City Council to come to terms with YouTube?

How can Exeter TV get more support?

It became known during Animated Exeter that there is no support for Flash on the computers used by Exeter City Council. This helps to explain the lack of animation on the Animated Exeter website. Apparently there is a bandwidth constraint so there is an economic question as to what the benefit would be. Presumably arguments about cultural industry are considered.

Exeter TV now have many videos on YouTube but not enough of an audience to be seen as a way to promote events. This could change with the Respect Festival and Sidmouth Folk Week but why not on a regular basis?

Discussion can be continued on the YouTube Exeter UK Group.
Later there will be more about Rougemont Global Broadcasting.

Also in real time and space such as the bar at the Phoenix
